What better way to get you in the Holiday spirit, then to guide you through this amazing cake shoot that has been featured on Swooned! This shoot was a total Christmas dream, and I am so thankful for Becki at Smith House Photography for asking me to be a part of it.

This year Swooned decided to put on a holiday cake series that featured work from all over the US and we were just lucky enough to be one of them. Whisk Bakery has this amazing way of making you drool over everything she designs. She is so incredibly talented y’all! Not to mention her cakes are oh so yummy.

Carla had to take this shoot to big heights and couldn’t only do one cake so she did three! Our first cake was beautifully white, with buttercream and sprinkled with love…I mean coconut. It was like fresh snow on the ground on Christmas morning! The second, was an amazingly delicious dolce de leche cake with cherry filling. Cranberries and gold leaf were adorned on top to give it a pop of red. Our third and final cake was a chocolate cake drizzled in the most beautiful caramel swirl you have ever seen! My mouth is totally watering as I write this.

So, as you prepare for holiday dinner with your family and friends, I wish you all the love and happiness in the world. Its a beautiful time of year and we wish you a very Merry Christmas! Here is a few of my favorites from the shoot
